Coach of the Year

Bryan Harris, Manvel
In his second season at Manvel, Harris ended the nation’s longest winning streak by leading his team to defeat over Duncanville in the Class 5A State Championship Game.

First Team

G Tasia Foman, Duncanville, 5-6, Sr. 
Teammates with Ariel Atkins since age 7, Foman was the point guard of the state’s most dynamic duo whom captured two state titles and a 105-game winning streak up until this year’s state title game.  Atkins has signed to play with the University of Texas.

G Ariel Atkins, Duncanville, 5-10, Sr. 
A McDonald’s All-American, Atkins averaged 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 steals and 3.9 assists.   She will join teammate Tasia Foman at the University of Texas.

C Rebekah Van Dijk, Nazareth, 6-4, Sr. 
The 1A Division 2 State Championship Game MVP, Van Dijk averaged 17.7 points and 12.6 rebounds as a senior leading Nazareth to the first state tournament in seven years.  Van Dijk has signed with the University of Texas-Arlington.

F Brianna Turner, Manvel, 6-3, Sr. (Player of the Year) 
Notre Dame signee, Turner led Manvel in every major statistical category this season while being named the 5A State Championship Game MVP in route to Manvel’s first ever state championship.  Turner is considered by many as the nation’s top prospect in the class of 2014.

F Madison Parker, Canyon, 5-8, Sr. 
A two-time state champion, Parker was named this year’s Class 4A State Championship Game MVP after winning her first state title as a freshman on a 38-0 team.  Parker averaged 9.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

G Haley Frias, Georgetown, 5-8, Sr.

G Taylor Fulmer, Brock, 5-9, Sr.

C Teaira McCowan, Brenham, 6-7, Jr.

F Avery Queen, Boerne, 6-2, Sr.

F Bobbi Chitsey, Wall, 6-0, Jr.
