Coach of the Year

Quincy Lewis, Lone Peak
Lewis guided Lone Peak to their fourth consecutive Class 5A State Championship in 2014 and has a career record of 184-34 in nine seasons as head coach.

First Team

G TJ Haws, Lone Peak (Highland), 6-2, Sr. (Player of the Year) 
The player of the year and BYU signee is considered by many as the most successful basketball player in Utah prep history.   A four-year starter, four time all-state selection, and four time state champion.  Haws finished his career as the state’s 12th leading all-time scorer with 1,896 points.

G Sam Merrill, Bountiful, 6-2, Sr.
Led Class 4A with 7.3 assists per game, in addition, to scoring 15.9 points and recording 2.1 steals per game.  Merrill helped propel Bountiful to the Class 4A State Championship and has signed with Utah State University.

C Ryan Andrus, American Fork, 6-10, Sr.
A multipurpose post player who can also step out outside and shoot the 3, Andrus averaged 14.9 points and 7.7 rebounds.   A two-time all-state selection, Andrus was named the Class 5A MVP in 2013 and has signed with BYU.

F Brekkott Chapman, Roy, 6-8, Sr.
Versatile forward averaged 16.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.8 steals, and 3.2 blocks as a senior.   Chapman has signed to play with the University of Utah.

F Dalton Nixon, Orem, 6-7, Sr.
Breaking his high school’s career scoring record midway through his senior season, Nixon guided Orem to the Class 4A State Championship averaging 20.2 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.  Nixon has signed with BYU.

Second Team

G Jesse Wade, Davis (Kaysville), 6-0, Jr.

G Jake Lindsey, Olympus (Holladay), 6-4, Jr.

G Geno Luzcando, Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant), 6-3, Sr.

F Matt Conway, Pleasant Grove, 6-6, Sr.

F Zach Seljaas, Bountiful, 6-6, Jr.
