Coach of the Year

Rob Nickens, Theodore Roosevelt
Led Roosevelt to their first state title since 2011 taking home both the DCIAA and DCSAA championships.

 

First Team

G Johnnie Shuler, Theodore Roosevelt, 5-11, Sr. (Player of the Year) 
The player of the year and LaSalle signee averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals leading the Rough Riders to the DCIAA and DCSAA titles.

G Tre Campbell, St. John’s, 6-2, Sr. 
Georgetown recruit averaged 12.6 points and drained a team-high 56 three-pointers for the loaded Cadets, who put together a 24-game win streak.

G Jamaal Gregory, Coolidge, 6-4, Sr. 
One of the area’s most explosive players, Gregory transferred to Coolidge for his senior season and electrified crowds with plays at the rim averaging a double-double in more than half his games during the season.

F Joe Hampton, DeMatha Catholic, 6-7, Soph. 
A combo forward with the ability to play outside and inside, Hampton’s game got stronger and stronger as the season progressed averaging over 12 points and eight rebounds per game.

F James Palmer, St. John’s, 6-5, Sr. 
A Miami(FL) signee, Palmer was the leading scorer of the Cadets which featured five starters with division one scholarships.

G Christian Lutete, McKinley Tech, 6-2, Sr.

G Steffen Davis, Maret, 6-2, Sr.

F Jibreel Faulkner, Theodore Roosevelt, 6-7, Sr.
