Here are the 20 finalists for the American Family Insurance ALL-USA girls basketball team, which will be released in April. Players are listed alphabetically.

Preseason American Family Insurance ALL-USA Basketball Team

Ariel Atkins, G, 5-11. Duncanville, Texas. Texas signee led team to a 105-game winning streak, averaging 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 steals and 3.9 assists.

Kenisha Bell, G, 5-8. Kennedy, Bloomington, Minn. Marquette signee is averaging 20.2 points and 6.2 assists.

De’Janae Boykin, F, 6-2. C.H. Flowers (Springdale, Md.). Junior averaged 21.1 points, 15.8 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 3.2 steals and 3.0 blocks.

Recee’ Caldwell, PG, 5-8. Family Educators Alliance of South Texas, San Antonio. UCLA signee averaged 18.3 points a game for FEAST.

Sierra Calhoun, W, 6-0. Christ the King, Middle Village, N.Y. Duke signee averaged 24.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.5 assists.  

McKenzie Calvert, PG, 5-7. Steele, Cibolo, Texas. Southern Cal signee averaged 20.7 points and led team to 26-5 record.

Jordin Canada, PG, 5-6. Windward, Los Angeles. UCLA signee led team to CIF Open Division Southern Section title, averaging 16.7 points and 6.3 assists a game.

Te’a Cooper, PG, 5-8. McEachern, Powder Springs, Ga. Junior led team to state AAAAAA championship, averaging 19.3 points, 5.4 assists and 4.5 steals during the regular season.

Mikayla Cowling, W, 6-1. St. Mary’s, Berkeley, Calif. Cal signee has led team to 26-7 record, averaging 16.1 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Asia Durr, PG, 5-10. St. Pius X, Atlanta. Junior led team to Class AAA state title, averaging 24.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.7 assists. 

Gabby Green, W, 6-1. St. Mary’s, Berkeley, Calif. Cal signee is averaging 14.2 points and 5.1 assists.

Kelsey Mitchell, PG, 5-8. Princeton, Cincinnati. Ohio Ms. Basketball winner is averaging 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 4.1 steals while leading her team to the state Div. I semifinals. Has signed with Ohio State.

Jaime Nared, W, 6-1. Westview, Portland, Ore. Tennessee signee is averaging 22.6 points and has a chance to lead her team to her first state title. She is the three-time Portland Metro Player of the Year.

Gabrielle Ortiz, PG, 5-6. The Prairie, Racine, Wis. Oklahoma signee averaged 20.5 points 4.3 assists and 3.4 steals.

Katie Lou Samuelson, W, 6-3. Mater Dei, Santa Ana, Calif. Junior is averaging 26.0 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists for a 25-2 team.

Shakayla Thomas, W, 5-11. Sylacauga, Ala. FSU signee led team to state 5A runner-up finish, averaging 32.7 points.

Brianna Turner, F, 6-3. Manvel, Texas. Notre Dame signee averaged 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.9 blocks and 3.6 steals to lead team to state 5A title.

Kathryn Westbeld, F, 6-2. Fairmont, Kettering, Ohio. Notre Dame signee averaged 17.4 points and 10.1 rebounds and is looking for a second consecutive Div. I state title.

Jatarie White, C, 6-4, Providence Day, Charlotte. South Carolina signee is the two-time Gatorade state Player of the Year. She averaged 21.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.7 steals to lead team to 3A independent schools title.

A’ja Wilson, F, 6-5, Heathwood Hall, Columbia, S.C. Top undecided senior averaged 35 points and 14 rebounds while leading her team to state AAA independent schools title.
