COACH OF YEAR: John Carroll, Oceanside
There’s a reason his school will soon name the stadium after Carroll. His teams always seem to squeeze every drop out of what they have. His unbeaten team advanced to the CIF Division I state final despite losing several talented players after the 2013 season and having a JV squad that went 2-8 a year ago.

Browning threw six touchdown passes in Folsom’s 44-7 win against Tracy on Dec. 6. Those six pushed his career total to 220, passing the prior national mark held by current Missouri QB Maty Mauk.
