COACH OF THE YEAR: John Musser, Grants Pass
Musser took a team that went 3-7 in 2012 and 7-4 in 2013 to even greater heights this year (11-1). It was a big shock when Grants Pass lost to West Salem in the state quarterfinals, which showed how far the Cavemen had come along.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kellen Strahm, Sheldon (Eugene)
Primarily a wide receiver, Strahm had to step in at quarterback when the Irish’s starting QB was injured in Week 3. He proceeded to put up video-game numbers: Strahm ran for 1,669 yards and 26 touchdowns and passed for 1,299 yards and 10 scores.

OL Levi Long (6-7, 265, Sr.), Sprague (Salem)

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Osawaru Odighizuwa, David Douglas (Portland)
His Scots could only muster a 3-6 record, but Odighizuwa (also a national-caliber wrestling champion) has clout as arguably the most individually dominant player in the state.
