Exemplary character: The junior class treasurer in her school, she has volunteered on behalf of a local food bank and youth sports programs.
“She is an amazingly gifted athlete,” said Marcus Dunbar, head coach of rival Kodiak. “She is a truly hard worker and loves running. She has won the prestigious Junior Mount Marathon race numerous years in a row in addition to participating in cross country, basketball and soccer. I believe she is just at the tip of her iceberg in discovering and developing her running talent.”
