The Touchstone Energy All “A” Classic state volleyball tournament will be Saturday at Optimum Sports Complex, 2401 Stanley Gault Parkway.
The 16-team event will begin with pool play at 8:30 a.m. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the championship bracket starting at 3 p.m.
The final is set for 7:30 p.m. Sixth Region champion Holy Cross and Seventh Region winner Whitefield will represent Louisville in the event.
No. 11 St. Henry, the two-time defending champion, and No. 14 Holy Cross are the highest-ranked teams in the field, according to the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association’s poll. All “A” events are limited to the smallest 120 high schools in Kentucky, based on enrollment in grades 9-12.

Pool A: Monroe County, St. Henry, Lexington Christian, Harlan.
Pool B: Ballard Memorial, Louisville Holy Cross, Washington County, Leslie County.
Pool C: Whitefield, Walton-Verona, Allen Central, Raceland.
Pool D: University Heights, Whitesville Trinity, Green County, Bishop Brossart.
