The Associated Press released its All-State high school football teams Monday. Here are a list of the area players who were honored by classification:

* Class 7A: First team – P Eric Briggs (Fort Myers). Second team – OL Dan Oak (Fort Myers).

* Class 6A: First team – OL Levi Walton (Baker), LB Brian Donnelly (Naples). Second team – OL Joe Gold (South Fort Myers), K Filander Barahona (Baker). Third team – DL Brady Pallante (Barron Collier), LB D’Ronzjiah Matthews (South Fort Myers), DB Roy Denson (Baker). Honorable mention – QB Sage Attwood (Baker), RB Ron Johnson (Palmetto Ridge), DB Tyler Byrd (Naples).

* Class 5A: First team – WR JC Jackson (Immokalee). Second team – OL Bernandino Salas (Immokalee), DB Rhasheed Jiles (Cape Coral). Third team – LB Jimmy Bayes (Immokalee). Honorable mention – DL Marlon Gonzalez (Island Coast), DL Christian Banasiak (Island Coast), UT Karbiel Dirogene (Lely).

* Class 4A: First team – WR Lenorris Gaines (Clewiston). Second team – RB Danny Robinson (LaBelle), OL Joe Hernandez (Clewiston), OL Joshua Rimes (LaBelle). Honorable mention – RB Derry West (Clewiston).

* Class 3A: First team – K Michael Conroy (Community School). Honorable mention – QB Drew Tomiani (Community School).

* Class 2A: First team – OL Seth Penner (First Baptist), LB Zach Williams (First Baptist). Second team – RB Christian Rodriguez (First Baptist), WR Riley Escalle (ECS). Honorable mention – QB Caleb Chapman (ECS), UT Darrion Cohens (Moore Haven).
