The Offensive Player of the Year was selected as part of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Football Team.

Kyler Murray
Quarterback, 5-10, 180
Allen, Texas
Age: 17

College choice: Committed to Texas A&M

Details: Has thrown for more than 10,000 yards and rushed for 4,000 yards in his career. Also a top baseball prospect. Has led team to three consecutive state titles.

Favorite stadium: Jerry’s World (AT&T Stadium in Arlington). When it is filled up with 50,000 or 60,000 fans, that’s pretty crazy for a high school game.

Playing all road games: Made us a stronger team. We just knew that was some of the adversity we had to face. We have great fans. We know wherever we play, there’s going to be 15,000 who show up.

Favorite Madden QB: Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson.

Favorite teacher:  My counselor, Mrs. (Shamia) Coleman. She’s kind of like the school mom. She’s always looking out for me. She’s kind of become like a part of the family. Her son is like a little bro to me.
