Boys basketball: Delta stops Union City
UNION CITY, Ind. – Union City’s scoring duo of Isaac Davison and Kyle Whitesel were outdone by a pair of Slavens on Tuesday as Delta handed the Indians a 70-59 defeat.
Davison scored 19 points and Whitesel 18, but Kameron Slaven and Kaleb Slaven each hit for 25 points. Tanner Lambert added 13 for Delta.
Union City (3-4) hosts Tri on Saturday.

Middle School Basketball: Union City 7th grade posts 5th victory
Union City’s eighth-grade boys basketball team nipped Mississinawa Valley 25-23.
Mason Good led the eighth-graders (5-3) with 10 points, while Cameron Luster added nine.
Mississinawa Valley earned a 40-26 triumph in the seventh-grade game.
Bryten Stewart led Union City (1-7) with 14 points, and John Carpenter added eight.
