Roberson senior Alyssa Arwood placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Speedo Winter Junior Nationals swim meet held Wednesday through Saturday in Federal Way, Wash.

The Duke recruit swam a time of 1 minute, 1.72 seconds and also competed in the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard breaststroke. She was representing her club team, the YMCA of Western North Carolina Piranhas.

Arwood and the Rams will host the annual Ironman meet Saturday at the Zeugner Center in Skyland. The meet begins at noon.
