Eat your heart out Derek Jeter. This is how you bring home a championship with a highlight reel grab.

As brought to USA Today’s attention by our friends at Prep Rally, Riley de Wit of Colusa High collected one of the highlight reel grabs of the season in the seventh inning of the California Division III Northern Section title game against Winters High. With his team cruising in the lead with a score of 6-2, de Wit raced out to shallow center field and brought in an acrobatic grab to record the game’s penultimate out.

Given the dominance of ace Hayden Bailey, de Wit and his teammates probably could have taken the seventh inning easy as they cruised to a second-consecutive sectional title. Instead the shortstop finished with a flurry, just as all great champions do.
