Columbine beat Arvada West 57-55 in a JeffCo League game Thursday night at Columbine High School.

The Rebels won on a buzzer beating put back by senior Brandon Wilson.

The game almost went to overtime after the Wildcats tied it at 55 with two late three pointers from Thomas Neff. But with 3.5 seconds remaining the Rebels got the ball to Keaton Matthies. His shot attemp fell off the front rim. Wilson grabbed the rebound and threw it off the backboard and in for the win.

The Rebels improve to (9-12, 7-7) and will host Bear Creek on the 19th.

Arvada West falls to (13-8, 9-5) and next plays Chatfield on the 19th.
