Little Chute 5, Berlin 4: Berlin’s seventh-inning rally came up one run short as the Indians fell to the Mustangs.
Trailing 5-1 entering the bottom of the seventh, Taylor Wallace led off the inning with a double — the first hit off Little Chute starter Austin Gloudemans.
Carter Jodarski reached on an error with one out, while Ryan Viertel followed with a double to score Wallace. Justice Keller then delivered a two-run single to bring the Indians within a run.
Gloudemans would strike out the next hitter and then, after hitting Ryan Wenig to put the go-ahead run on base for the Berlin, got a groundout to end the game.
