BOISE — Out with the old and in with the new.
Bishop Kelly High School celebrated the grand opening of a new classroom wing today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The $1.1 million project adds seven new state-of-the-art classrooms. School leaders say that the expansion will help them accommodate growing enrollment.
“They are bigger classrooms and they’re designed with the requests and desires that our teachers said they’d like to have in their classrooms,” said Bishop Kelly High School President Rich Raimondi. “So each classroom is really state-of-the-art and will meet the needs of our students and teachers.”
The school also recently completed an expansion of a parking lot. They’re remodeling and expanding the library and they’re adding new tennis courts. All of the projects are entirely funded by donors.
