The Blessed To Run summer track club produced 19 district champions over the weekend in the AAU Lake Erie regional qualifier at Mehock Field.
The top 16 placers in each event advance to the regional meet June 26-29 at Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati.
Alaya Grose was a triple champion for BTR in the girls 14-year-old age group, winning the 100-meter dash in 12.9, the 100 hurdles in 15.65 and the 200 hurdles in 29.98. Sarah Baker was a double-winner in the 17-18 division, claiming the 1,500 run in 5:19.99 and the 3,000 in 11:40.39.
Winning javelin titles were Scottasia Manns in the 9-year-old division (35-5) and Sophie Clairmonte in the 15-16 division (87-0).
On the boys side, Emir Hemphill was a triple-winner in the 11 division, claiming the shot put (28-7), discus (56-10) and javelin (69-7). In the 12 division, Ty’Lheir Grose won the discus (87-5) and javelin (70-4) and 17-18 thrower Alex Hill took the discus (143-10) and javelin (91-6).
Other champs for BTR were Jaiden Grose in the 8-and-under long jump (11-4.5), Angelo Grose in the 12 long jump (16-4.5), Armon Huguely in the 13-year-old 100 dash (12.3) and Keandre Marlow in the 13-year-old high jump (5-2).

Girls qualifying for regionals include Laila Marlow, Adazinna Manns, Za’Riah Merriweather, Alsiha Hill, Aileena Young, Delanie Cecil, Ab’Zarria Merriweather, Scottasia Manns, Zy’Quia Manns, Dagena Young, Delanie Cecil, Te’Leinah Grose, Laprina Young, La’Terrica Johnson, Jakari Brown, Lillian Wees, Tor’Reian Brown, Kareema Bolden, Makenna Hawk, Jennifer Armstrong.
