The Bossier Bearkats got a workmanlike effort with nine different players scoring at least one point to beat the Evangel Eagles 64-48 Friday night at Bossier High School to maintain their slim one-game lead over North Webster atop the District 1-3A leaderboard.

Devonte Hall scored a game-high 21 points and Kentrell Hardy added 16 as Bossier improved to 18-7 overall and a perfect 5-0 in district play.

Calvin Daniels scored 18 points and Tim Stokes added 17 as Evangel fell to 15-10 and 3-2.

Southwood 94, Haughton 66: At Southwood, the Cowboys built a 50-27 lead by halftime and cruised to the victory to stay unbeaten in District 1-5A play.

John Parker scored a game-high 21 points as Southwood improved to 16-8 and 5-0 in district. Chris Black fired in 17 points, Terion Bell dropped in 16, and ShaKelvin Calhoun added 11 for the Cowboys.

Jevonte Woodard led Haughton (7-15, 0-5) with 18 points, while J’Marcia Banks added 15.

Captain Shreve 82, Airline 64: At Captain Shreve, the Gators shrugged off a slow start to get a big District 1-5A win over the Vikings to keep pace with district leader Southwood.

Jesses McWright led four players in double figures with 25 points as Shreve improved to 12-8 and 4-1 in district. Eric Mosley scored 14 points, Tyrone Earls dropped in 13 and Cameron Coleman added 10 for the Gators.

Larry Robinson scored 11 points and Anthony Gladney added 10 as Airline fell to 7-17 and 1-4.

Byrd 82, Parkway 70: At Byrd, Chad Lott scored 28 points to lead the Yellow Jackets to a big District 1-5A win over the Panthers.

Marcus Smith and David Holmes scored 12 points each and Montrey Thomas added 10 as Byrd improved to 21-5 overall and 3-2 in district play.

Brodrick Jefferson led Parkway (9-9, 2-3) with 13 points and Trey Rogers added 11 for the Panthers.

Fair Park 67, Loyola 65 OT: At Loyola, the Indians rallied with 38 second-half points and edged the Flyers in overtime for the District 1-4A road win.

DeAngelo McClinton scored a game-high 31 points and Donnie Perkins added 11 as Fair Park kept pace in the district race at 15-10 overall and 5-1 in district.

Eldrick English led Loyola (16-9, 3-3) with 24 points, while Dominique Kennedy dropped in 16 and Drekaleus Williams added 11.

Northwood 68, Woodlawn 62: At Woodlawn, the Falcons built a big lead, then held off a late rally by the Knights to take the victory in District 1-4A action.

Martavious Washington scored 26 points to lead all scorers as Northwood improved to 12-12 and 3-3 in district.

Telvin Thomas led Woodlawn (7-15, 2-4) with 20 points and Sidney Bryant added 15.

BTW 65, Green Oaks 57: At Green Oaks, Marvontae Alexander led three players in double figures with 20 points as the Lions picked up a District 1-3A road win over the Giants.

Karim El-Amin dropped in 16 points and Bobdrick Thomas added 10 as BTW improved to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in district.

Veonta Keith scored 17 points, while DeQuadrean Ladell had 13 and Jonathan Bell added 10 as Green Oaks fell to 7-16 and 1-4.

North Webster 76, Mansfield 51: At North Webster, the Knights bounced back from their overtime loss to Bossier Tuesday with a commanding win over the Wolverines in District 1-3A action.

Dontavious Smith scored 17 points and Lyntravious Gipson added 11 as North Webster improved to 18-8 and 4-1 in district.

Corey Anderson led Mansfield (7-16, 0-5) with 16 points.

Calvary 63, Red River 51: At Red River, Garrett Kochkian scored 20 points to lead the Cavs to the District 1-2A win over the Bulldogs.

Shea Patterson added 12 points as Calvary improved to 8-9 overall and 3-3 in district. Red River dropped to 5-14 and 1-4.

Zwolle 72, Stanley 65: At Zwolle, the Hawks held off a late rally by the Panthers to pick up the win in District 3-B.

SeDerrick Pittman scored 21 points and Kane Lewis added 20 for Zwolle.

Alize Elam scored a game-high 34 points for Stanley.
