We ran a ball screen play for Joe with the purpose to draw everyone so we can get Conor (McGuiness) a look. They let him (Zayer) drive it. Joe got to the paint and scored.

“We’ve always played them very tough,” Backs said. “That’s a major accomplishment and a testament to our kids and the hard work they put in. The Tigers have two definite Division I kids. It says a lot about our kids are definitely ready to play at the next the level should they get that opportunity.”

Zayer (19 points) was in foul trouble most of the game.
