Timothy Christian 50, Piscataway 39: Senior guard Matt DiLeo scored all 13 of his points in the fourth quarter as the Timothy Christian School boys basketball team overcame a one-point deficit to stun Red Division opponent Piscataway 50-39 on Saturday and get head coach Chris Hobbs his 100th career win at the school.

The Tigers (9-4) trailed 25-16 at the half, but outscored Piscataway 23-11 in the fourth quarter.

Brandon Summers recorded 17 points and nine rebounds to lead Timothy Christian while Marinus Tavernier scored 10 points for the Chiefs (3-9).

St. Joseph 83, Old Bridge 39: Tyler Drews scored 11 points, breaking the all-time Old Bridge scoring record former teammate Sultan Aminu set last year, as he now has 1,228 points for his career. Karl Towns recorded 22 points, 15 rebounds, and seven blocks, Wade Baldwin chiped in 11 points and 10 assists, and Marques Townes added 14 in the win as St. Joseph (13-1) led 50-14 at the half.

East Brunswick 66, Elizabeth 52: Garry Baumer scored 24 points on six 3-pointers to lead East Brunswick (6-3), which snapped a two-game losing skid. Amir Bell recorded 10 points and nine assists while Matt Ross added 14 points for the Bears.

Sayreville 59, Monroe 55: Corey Taite sealed the game in the fourth quarter, scoring 11 of his 20 points and going 6-of-6 from the free throw line to lift the Bombers (12-2) to their 10th straight win. Taite added five assists while Malik Pressley and Myles Hartsfield each added 11 points for Sayreville. Tyler Salzer led Monroe (6-6) with 15 points while Matt Cocorikis notched 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Linden 52, Plainfield 33: The Tigers jumped out to a 35-16 halftime lead en route to the win as Quadri Moore led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Colonia 47, J.F. Kennedy 35: Brandon Haines scored 14 points and Chase Barneys added 13 as Colonia (8-4) led 22-15 at the half. Joe Duffy scored 11 points for J.F. Kennedy (6-6).

Spotswood 77, South River 51: Jake Dadika scored a game-high 29 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Spotswood (8-4). Marlon Hart had 17 points and Matt Ciaccio added 14 points and 17 rebounds for the Chargers. Matt Martinez scored 23 points for South River (7-4) and Sean Darrar added 12.

Cardinal McCarrick 59, J.P. Stevens 40: Sky Harris scored 15 points, Pop Brown netted 14, and Keyshawn Roache added 12 to pace Cardinal McCarrick (3-10), which led 37-20 at the half. Nick Dooley led all scorers with 20 points for J.P. Stevens (2-11).

Piscataway Tech 49, South Plainfield 42: Aziz Austin scored eight of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead Piscataway Tech (2-7). Chris Mathis scored 11 points for South Plainfield (4-8).

South Brunswick 82, Hillside 58: Jack Engel scored 16 of his 20 points in the first half and Corey Lumpkin added 20 as well to lead South Brunswick (5-6), which jumped out to a 25-9 lead after the first. Jason Saldiveri added 10 points and 10 assists for the Vikings.

Montgomery 62, Lenape 52: Justin Kovacevich scored a game-high 23 points and Chase Ta added 12 as Montgomery improved to 13-0.

Hillsborough 62, North Hunterdon 32: Jalen Parham led the Hillsborough (9-2) attack with 15 points and teammate Matt Hornich added 10 points en route to the winning effort. Jacob Johnson led North Hunterdon (5-8) with eight points.

Union Catholic 49, Roselle 38: Isaiah Still scored 24 points and Devine Eke added nine as Union Catholic rolled.

Westfield 45, Governor Livingston 36: Chris Wright scored 15 points and Dylan Elliott and David Kane each added nine to lead Westfield (8-5). Robert Imbalzano scored 10 points for Governor Livingston (3-9).

Dunellen 59, A.L. Johnson 40: David Johnson scored 27 points with 12 rebounds while Nick Petrozelli added 16 points to lead Dunellen (7-4).

Summit 53, Bernards 35: Kyle Verduin scored 12 points for Bernards in a losing effort.
