Bound Brook 65, Pingry 52: Senior guard Shane Stevens broke the school record for most points in a game with 42. Sophomore Anthony Perez added 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals as the Crusaders improved to 7-2. For Pingry (3-4), Ryan Lane scored 17 points and Drew Gagnon netted 14.
Westfield 68, Roselle 62 (2OT): Sophomore Parker Hess nailed a 3-pointer in double overtime to give Westfield a lead it did not relinquish. Hess tallied 15 points and sophomore Chris Boutsikaris scored 12 on four 3-pointers as the Blue Devils improved to 5-5.
Ridge 61, Warren Hills 34: Senior guard Kevin Doolan posted 12 points, eight assists and five steals to pace Ridge. Junior guard Dan McCreesh scored 11 points and sophomore Max Mahoney chipped in 11 points and 10 boards as Ridge improved to 9-0.
Watchung Hills 63, Immaculata 39: Mark Ball scored 17 points and Anthony Rocchietti netted 11 for Watchung Hills (6-3), which got scoring contributions from 10 different players. For Immaculata (2-7), Chris Golakwicz scored a team-high 10 points.
Scotch Plains-Fanwood 64, Delaware Valley 61: Junior guard Leo Ramos sank two free throws with one second left to seal it and finished with 22 points. Sophomore forward Rashan Gary tallied eight points and four blocks for the Raiders. Delaware Valley was paced by 19 points from junior wing Josh Christ.
Bridgewater-Raritan 51, North Hunterdon 34: Bridgewater-Raritan used a 19-8 fourth quarter to pull away and improve to 6-3. North Hunterdon fell to 3-6.
Bernards 39, Whippany Park 38: David Wieber scored 27 points to spark Bernards (3-4).
Somerville 47, Phillipsburg 38: Keshav Reddy tallied 14 points and Matt Cardone added 13 points as Somerville improved to 5-3. Mike Bunnell contributed 11 points to the Pioneers’ cause.
Woodridge 61, New Brunswick 52: Zahneer Shuler score 15 points, freshman Quassim Glover chipped in 13 points and Zaire Robinson added 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Woodbridge improved to 5-5. For New Brunswick, Nadier Witten and Trevon Blakey netted 16 points apiece.
East Brunswick 65, Colonia 39: Addis Ralph racked up 24 points, Gary Baumer netted 11 and Matt Ross scored 10 as East Brunswick improved to 4-1. The Bears outscored Colonia 26-10 in the fourth quarter. Chase Barneys paced Colonia (5-2) with 12 points.
Hunterdon Central 47, Franklin 39: The Red Devils (4-5) slowly pulled away in the second half. Franklin (0-7) was paced by Zevi White’s 12 points.
Edison 53, J.P. Stevens 44: Dennis Amuzu and Travon Washington each scored 15 points for Edison, which pulled away with a 23-8 edge in the fourth quarter. J.P. Stevens was led by Francois Ballou’s 19 points.
Monroe 62, Cardinal McCarrick 61: Chris Germano paced Monroe (5-2) with 19 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with two seconds left. After trailing by 15 through three quarters, Cardinal McCarrick (2-5) roared back to take the late lead. The Eagles were fueled by Sky Harris’ 36 points and freshman Pop Brown’s 10 points, six assists and three steals. It marked the seventh straight double-double for Harris. Jair Davis scored 16 for Monroe.
St. Joseph 70, Irvington 55: St. Joseph came back from a 21-8 first-quarter deficit. Karl Towns compiled 27 points, 18 rebounds, eight blocks and five assists as the Falcons improved to 10-0. Wade Baldwin chipped in 21 points and six assists and Marques Townes scored 12 points.
