Hillsborough 50, Bridgewater-Raritan 40: Senior forward Matt Hornich led all scorers with 19 points to improve Hillsborough’s record to 6-0. James Smith chipped in with 10 points in the victory. Bridgewater-Raritan was led by senior forward Ben Miller, who netted 15 points.
Watchung Hills 53, Franklin 44: Anthony Rocchietti netted 16 points and David Weidlich added nine as Watchung Hills improved to 4-2. Jaelen Davis hit for 11 points and Zevi White chipped in 10 for Franklin (0-7).
Gill St. Bernard’s 60, Immaculata 41: Tyus Battle poured in 31 points and Mike Morreale contributed eight for Gill St. Bernard’s. Julian Alexis scored 11 points and Jimmy Surface added nine to pace Immaculata.
66, Rahway 59: Parker Hess tallied 19 points and Sean Elliott added 11 to lead Westfield (4-2). Edriece Patterson scored 15 points and Andrew Abadia hit for 13 to pace Rahway (2-4).
Bound Brook 56 Bernards 28: Senior Shane Stevens poured in 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out seven assists as Bound Brook improved to 4-2. Sophomore Anthony Perez chipped in 15 points for the Crusaders (4-2), while Doug DeMarrais scored 15 points to pace Bernards (1-4).
Colonia 57, Piscataway 40: James Corbett led all scorers with 15 points and three other Colonia (3-1) players reached double-figures. Chase Barneys and Charlei Caver each scored 11 and Jordell Thompson netted 10 for the Patriots. Joe Hines scored 11 for Piscataway (2-3).
Sayreville 66, Edison 53: Corey Taite led the way with 19 points and three others reached double-digits for Sayreville (5-2). Brian Gay chipped in 11 and Jehyve Floyd and Malik Pressley added 10 each. Raekwon Ross paced Edison (2-3) with 22 points and Travon Washington added 17.
Linden 69, Newark Vocational 41: Juwan Jones led the way with 21 points for Linden, on the night when the school dedicated the court to Coach Philip Colicchio. Quadri Moore scored 14 points, Joshua Carter chipped in 10 and James Julius had 10 for the Tigers.
Voorhees 63, Somerville 57: Voorhees (2-4) took an early lead and never relinquished it, posting the upset over the Pioneers (4-2).
South Hunterdon 62, Delaware Valley 54: A 24-17 edge in the fourth quarter helped the Eagles (5-1) pull away from their border rival.
Montgomery 70, North Hunterdon 46: Greg Tarca led all scorers with 22 points and four players reached double-figures for Montgomery (6-0). Justin Kovacevich scored 19, Alex Miller added 12 and Case Pa chipped in 10 for the Cougars. Ryan McDowell led North Hunterdon (2-4) with 18 points.
Pingry 63, Belvidere 51: Junior Tom Foreman led Pingry with 17 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, while sophomore Drew Gagnon added 16 points and seven rebounds. Senior forward Evan Key tallied 13 points and eight rebounds as the Big Blue improved to 3-2.
St. Mary’s 51, Governor Livingston 44: Rob Imbalzano scored 14 points and Patrick Mahoney added nine points for Governor Livingston.
