Carteret 57, Metuchen 55: Jaquan Robertson scored 26 points and Anthony Spinelli finished with 15 as Carteret staved off a fierce fourth-quarter rally to escape with the victory. The Ramblers, who led by 17 points going into the fourth quarter, were outscored 25-10 in the final period and were tied with 52 seconds left and Metuchen had the ball. Artie Flaherty, who finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, tallied 10 points in the fourth, while Evan Collier, who went for 14 points and eight boards, hit for nine points in the final stanza.

J.F. Kennedy 63, South Plainfield 44: Joe Duffy scored 16 points and Kyle Alvarez added 15 as J.F. Kennedy rode a 19-point halftime lead. Brandon Bernard collected 14 points and seven rebounds for South Plainfield.

Middlesex 56, Piscataway Tech 54: Jarrett Bogus scored six of his 14 points in the fourth quarter and Middlesex held off Piscataway Tech. Jordan Lackey and Aziz Austin each netted 18 points to pace the Raiders .

Dunellen 48, Perth Amboy Tech 39: David Johnson netted 21 points and Danny Russomanno chipped in 10, as Dunellen used a 20-7 third-quarter run to pull away. Noel Garay scored 11 points for Perth Amboy Tech, while Jason Oxner and Jordan Little each hit for 10 for the Panthers (3-1) . Dunellen improved to 4-2.

South Brunswick 66, Old Bridge 58: Corey Lumpkin scored 25 points, and Jason Saldiveri added 16 points to send South Brunswick (2-2). Tyler Drews poured in 35 points for Old Bridge, which fell to 1-4.

Timothy Christian 63, East Brunswick Tech 22: Brandon Summers and Zach Coyle each netted 13 points to lead Timothy Christian. Summers added seven rebounds, while Matt DiLeo contributed nine points, six boards, five steals and seven assists for the Tigers (2-4). Mark Alston posted 16 points for East Brunswick Tech (1-2).

South Amboy 65, South River 47: Junior Dan Murphy scored 18 point, including 13 during South Amboy’s 25-12 second quarter, and the Governors improved to 3-2. Tim Kales and Nick Kales added 12 points each in the victory, while Joe Fruncillo snared 18 rebounds. South River was led by 18 points from Sean Darrar.

Bishop Ahr 55, Highland Park 24: Tom Weiler netted 10 points and Bobby Pacitti chipped in nine for Bishop Ahr (4-2). William Jacob-Perez scored 10 points to pace Highland Park (0-4).
