St. Joseph 70, Piscataway 55: Senior center Karl Towns recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 21 rebounds, 12 blocks and six assists as St. Joseph improved to 5-0. Sophomore guard Breein Tyree chipped in with 15 points, six steals, and four assists while Wade Baldwin and Raven Owen each added nine points for the Falcons. Piscataway (2-3) was led by Rachid Shimou’s 16 points while Najee Lucky had 11 and Elijah Murray-Tucker and Joe Hines had 10 each.

Sayreville 72, Woodbridge 48: Senior guard Rob Seraji was one of four Sayreville (4-2) players to score in double figures, as he led the effort with 24 points and seven rebounds. Corey Taite added 13 points, Jehvye Floyd and Malik Pressley each chipped in 10, and Brian Gay contributed nine points and eight rebounds for the Bombers. Zahneer Shuler was the only Woodbridge (3-2) player in double figures, as he finished with 20.

North Brunswick 62, Monroe 52: L.J. Williams led the North Brunswick (3-1) effort with 16 points, as the Raiders used a strong defensive effort in the second quarter to take the lead. Eric Slade (14), Kishan Patel (12), and Adrian Colon (11) all also scored in double figures for North Brunswick. Matt Cocorikis led the Monroe (2-3) effort with 17 points while Tyler Salzer had 15.

J.F. Kennedy 59, Bishop Ahr 48: Stepp Oziegbe scored 15 points, Peter Fiore netted 12, and Joe Duffy added 10 to lead J.F. Kennedy (3-1), which overcame a five point halftime deficit. Owen McLeod scored a game-high 16 points for Bishop Ahr (3-2) while Kevin Krolick added 10.

Somerville 53, Bound Brook 51: Mike Bunnell scored a team-high 16 points and Matt Cardone contributed 14 as Somerville (4-1) survived. Shane Stevens, whose 3-pointer at the buzzer for the win was off, led all scorers with 25 points for Bound Brook (3-2) while Anthony Perez added 12.

Union Catholic 57, Governor Livingston 37: Ashton Lofton scored 16 points and Devine Eke netted 14 to lead Union Catholic.

Hillsborough 62, Franklin 27: Senior wing Jalen Parham scored 15 points while teammate Matt Hornich added 12 to lead the Hillsborough (5-0) effort. Raphael Oloyede scored a team-high seven points for Franklin (0-4).

Montgomery 75, Warren Hills 53: Justin Kovacevich led all scorers with 29 points as Montgomery (5-0) rolled. Greg Tarca added 12 points while Chase Ha and Alex Miller each finished with eight for the Cougars.

Hunterdon Central 57, Immaculata 39: Jeff Dzierzawiec led all scorers with 24 points, John Patrick added 15, and Colin McNeil had 10 to power Hunterdon Central (2-4). Jimmy Surace scored 11 points for Immaculata (2-4).

North Hunterdon 52, Notre Dame (Pa.) 47: Ryan McDowell led the way with 20 points for North Hunterdon (2-3). Mike Magaleski added 13 points and Jacob Johnson had 10 for the Lions.

Watchung Hills 63, Ferris 49: Josh Goetz scored 13 points while Mark Ball and Justin Howell each added 11 to lead Watchung Hills (3-2).

Gill St. Bernard’s 61, Bridgewater-Raritan 50: After being tied at the end of the first and second quarters, Gill St. Bernard’s (5-2) used a 21-12 third quarter to break the game open. Bridgewater-Raritan is 3-2.

Linden 61, Plainfield 34: The Tigers improved to 5-1, as they led 18-5 after one quarter and 39-14 at the half. Plainfield is 3-1.

Cranford 50, Rahway 49: Edrice Patterson led all scorers with 15 points and Jerrel Merricks added 11 as Rahway (2-3) fell.
