Laconia 49, Omro 32: The Spartans used a good defensive effort in the first half to stay unbeaten in a win over Omro on the road.

Third-ranked Laconia (11-0, 6-0 Flyway) led 25-8 at the half and never looked back.

“We really came out tonight and with a tough game on the road we held them to eight points in the first half,” Laconia head coach Tom King said. “That really set the tone for the game.”

Spartans’ Nick Vollmer had a game-high 22 points while grabbing six rebounds. Noah Greve had nine points and six rebounds while Brett Wittchow added four points and four assists.
