Drue Wardrip and Jeremiah Bell combined for 33 points to help lead Butler to a 69-66 victory over Fern Creek on Friday night in boys’ basketball.

Wardrip scored 18 and Bell 15 for the Bears (6-10).

Joe Jackson had 15 points and Shawn Best and Demetrius Stanton 14 each for the Tigers (13-7).

: Collins (16-2) came out on top over Bullitt East (15-3) in a back-and-forth game, as sophomore Trajon Stone tipped in the game-winner at the buzzer.* Collins 56, Bullitt East 55

Brent Kidwell led Collins with 21 points, while Ezra Troutman led the Chargers with 15.

Tyler Bacon had 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks for Bullitt East.

The 21st annual Dragon Invitational scheduled for Saturday at South Oldham High School has been canceled because of the weather, athletic director Mitchell Irvin announced. The meet will not be rescheduled.
