Boys Hockey: Springs ends 5-game skid, beats De Pere

Springs 4, De Pere 0: The Ledgers broke out of a five-game losing streak with a win over the Voyageurs on the road.

Anthony Grebe scored two goals for the Springs, who hadn’t scored more than two goals in its last five games.

Mitchell Grebe and Connor Blanck added the other goals for Springs while Andrew Riehl recorded 41 saves in the shutout.

“It was a hard fought win,” Springs head coach Tim Ahern said. “We have been playing good we just haven’t been picking up wins. We played great defensively and it feels good to get back to the winning track.”
