Tyler Lemke scored 15 points and Brillion took an early lead and held it throughout en route to a 49-32 win over Weyauwega-Fremont on Friday night in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal at Brillion.
“We did a nice job of getting the early lead and then played pretty consistent throughout the game,” Lions coach Pete Kittel said.
Also scoring in double figures for Brillion were Zach Jensen with 13 points and Dontae Krizenesky with 12.
Lincoln Van Cuick led Weyauwega-Fremont with 14 points.

Shiocton 62, Algoma 51
At Shiocton, the Chiefs overcame a slow start to outlast the Wolves.
Algoma led 12-6 after one before Shiocton rallied to tie the game at 24-24 at halftime. The Chiefs took charge from there.
“We couldn’t hit any shots in the first quarter,” Shiocton coach Chad Schmidt said. “We started to get the ball inside more in the second and continued to do that in the third and fourth. We were patient.”
The Chiefs then put the game away at the line, making seven of eight free throws in the fourth quarter.
Patrick Brouillard paced Shiocton with 17 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Chiefs were Gage Kamp with 14 points, Nathan Schmidt with 12 and Jacob Van Asten with 11.
Hunter Prokash led Algoma with a game-high 20 points.
