Erwin senior catcher/outfielder Natalie Case has committed to play college softball for Newberry (S.C.).
As a junior, Case was named the Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year after batting .600 with 18 RBIs, 16 doubles and four triples. She was 9-for-10 in stolen-base attempts for the Warriors (11-10). Case was also the N.C. Softball Coaches Association 3-A district player of the year.
