Maryvale: Flyers only averaged 11 points a game in 2014. Offense has to be better.

Tonawanda: Warriors will be competitive. Led by Tristan Boling.

Cheektowaga Warriors

Mike Fatta has recorded a 14-3 record in his 2 years as a head coach. They will compete for league and sectional titles. Strength will be line anchored by Rob Wilson, Matt Sciera, Dan Woods, and RB Marshawn Gibson who is a candidate for 1000 yards rushing. They play at Depew in week 5 and host Alden in week 6. Other key players include Jerell Chappel-Rolling, Zachary Ciezki, and Matt Sciera. Gibson averaged 8.7 yards per carry in rushing for 976 yards last season.

Alden Bulldogs

Bulldogs start a new era without a Stoldt at QB. They recorded a 20-2 mark in the past 2 seasons while the JV team were 13-5. Rob Currin returns 5 on both sides of the ball led by All-WNY candidates Alex Schweitzer, Lyle Grant, and Dylan Riddoch. Other key players include Jordan Stockweather, Sean Cooper, and Leyton Miner. They will challenge for league and sectional titles. They host Depew in the opener and play Cheektowaga in week 6. Grant is a candidate for 1000 yards rushing.

Wildcats made it to the state smi-finals and recorded a 9-3 mark. They lost several quality players to graduation but have quality personnel returning led by All-WNY candidates Dylan Sekuterski, Nick Perrine, and other key players Tyler Anna and Nick Serafin. They will comptete for league and sectional titles. They have a solid opponent in the first week at Alden and play Cheektowaga in week 5. Rodney Turner aged out and is not eligible to play for the Wildcats.

Line to be anchored by Ron Ponholzer and Kelleher. They will improve this season as 15 starters return. They host Cleveland Hill in the opener. The Flyers don’t play Burgard in the regular season. They will be competitive.
