Burgard is the favorite for the league title.
Burgard: Bulldogs are loaded, particularly on defense led by Morrow and Sanders.
Medina: Hellwig will be the catalyst for the offense for Mustangs.
Albion: Gary Parisi takes over the Helm for the Purple Eagles.
Bennett: The Tigers can be a force is they play with discipline, return 14 starters.
Lewiston Porter: Jen Hoover looks for a winning season in 2014.
Newfane: The Panthers could struggle again this season.
Barker/Roy-Hart: The Raiders will miss Jacob Haight big time.

Burgard Bulldogs
Bulldogs are 13-5 in the past 2 seasons and 13-3 JV during the same period. Jason Kolb returns 6 starters on offense and 8 on defense. Defense to be strength anchored by All-WNY candidates Roderick Morrow and Darliel Sanders. Other key players include Andre Gamblin, Marcus Hampton, and Marklese Hampton. The line will be anchored by 6’7 320 lb Emmanuel Moss and 6’5, 280 lb Tiawon Moss. Offense to be sparked by Isiah Jameson and Hamptons. They host Albion in the opener at All-High. They will compete for the league and sectional titles. The could be undefeated going into the playoffs.

Medina Mustangs
Mustangs return 10 starters on defense and 7 on offense from last year’s 5-4 squad. They have All-WNY candidates in QB Jason Hellwig who passed for 1158 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. Brett Pecoraro, Charles Beach, Noah Banazwski 6’6, 265 lbs and Dylan Lewis. They will compete for the league title. They host Burgard in week 4 which could decide the title.

Bennett Tigers
Key players for the Tigers include sophomore Isiah McDuffie, Jeremiah Sanders, Andrew White, Alexander Lofton, and Tysheen Mingo. They return 9 starters on offense and 5 on defense. They open with Williamsville East. This season will not include 9th graders on the team due to a decision by the school board. The key to the season will be the play of the quarterback. They will compete for a playoff berth.

Albion Purple Eagles
The Purple Eagles have a new head coach in Gary Parisi and return 5 starters on both sides of the ball led by All-WNY candidate Desmond Blackmon. They have a tough matchup in the opener against Burgard. They could surprise this season. Other key players include Kyle Smith, Manny Thomson, Dominic DiCurela, and Try Hart.
