CLEVELAND HILL GOLDEN EAGLES

The Golden Eagles made it to the state classic semi-finals finishing with an 11-1 record. Glen Graham has averaged seven wins in 10 years as head coach. They will compete for league and sectional titles. The season could depend on the play of the quarterback. The line will be anchored by Keyshawn Crawford. Key players are junior RB Grayson Taylor, who is a candidate for 1000 yards rushing. Aaron Wesley and Jermaine Hairston. They play at town rival Maryvale in week 1 and will will host Lackawanna in week 7.

Steelers look to improve on last season’s 5-4 record. They should compete for the league title. Key players are Damone Sylvers, Mike Hall, Quinton Robinson, Manny Ramirez, Aseel Albaneh, and Roosevelt Jones. Key to the season will be the play of the QB. They host Wilson, Salamanca, and play at Cheektowaga in week 3. They will be in the playoffs. They will miss Dylan Gregoire and Cameron Smith.

Other key players include Caleb Martin, Aaron Siskn, Larson Sundown, and Doug Bighorn. They will miss Austen Lauricella who is playing at St. Lawrence University. They open with JFK and Silver Creek/Forestville. They could struggle this season.
