Sixteen teams will play across four Section 4 venues on Saturday in the 11th annual Mary Testa Players and Coaches vs. Cancer Softball Tournament.
All proceeds from the tournament will go to the American Cancer Society. The tournament has raised over $30,000 since its inception, including about $3,500 last year according to tournament director and organizer Jim Testa. The tournament is named in honor of Jim’s mother, Mary, who died of cancer.
There will be four-team regional tournaments at each of the four sites, which consist of Newark Valley, Vestal, U-E and Maine-Endwell.

* At Vestal: Afton vs. Vestal, 10 a.m.; Chenango Valley vs. Webster-Schroeder, noon; consolation game, 2; title game, 4
* At Union-Endicott: Ithaca vs. U-E, 10 a.m.; Johnson City vs. Shenendehowa, noon; consolation game, 2; title game, 4
* At Maine-Endwell: Greene vs. M-E, 11 a.m.; Oneonta vs. Norwich, 11 a.m.; consolation and title games, 1
U-E, Vestal hosting baseball tournament
Union-Endicott and Vestal will host the I Turned Pro baseball tournament on Saturday.
U-E will host Chenango Forks at 11 a.m. and Johnson City at 2, while Vestal will host JC at 11 a.m. and Forks at 2.
