Why did you enter the coaching profession?
The love for the game of football!
What is your philosophy in coaching?
To be disciplined, dedicated, and tough when playing football; to stop the run and play great defense.
What brings you the most satisfaction in coaching?
Watching young players develop into successful leaders.
What was your greatest win in coaching high school football?
1st: beating Depew at Depew in the playoffs in 2010. 2nd: Beating Fredonia in 2008 at Ralph Wilson Stadium
What were your most memorial moments in coaching high school football?
The 2008 Football season OR 2010 Football season; winning a Sectional Championship in the 2008 season.
Who are the most talented players you coached?
Curtis Underwood, LeSean Braxton, Marcus Rivers, Capone Smith, Christian Smith, Cameren Smith, Dwayne Bennett, John Brown, Terrance Turner, Shaquille Brooks, Dan Trala.
What game do you remember most?
2010 Sectional Playoff game vs. Depew (when we won 12-6). Great football game.
What do you expect from a player?
Dedication, heart, toughness, and discipline.
What were the best teams you have coached?
2008 or 2010, Lackawanna Varsity Football teams.
What was your most proud or memorable moment in playing football?
Earning a starting LB job at UB in 1995 & 1996 seasons after walkking on the team in 1993; also, being a 2-way starter at guard and linebacker for the Lackawanna Steelers in 1991 and 1992.
