WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The number 15 seems to be the magic number for a high school student in Winston-Salem.

15-year-old Devine Deablo attends Mount Tabor High School and is a wide-receiver on the football team. Believe it or not, Deablo has received 15 recruiting letters from colleges and universities across the country.

The teenager will be a junior when school starts on August 25.

Deablo told WFMY News 2, he’s going to have a tough time picking a college when he graduates.

Colleges’ wish list to get Deablo on their campus includes:

• North Carolina State University
• Duke University
• University of Missouri
• Florida State University
• South Carolina University
• Clemson University
• Old Dominion University
• Florida State University
• University of Georgia
• University of Louisville
• University of Tennessee
• University of Virginia
• Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University)
• Wake Forest University
• West Virginia University

On Friday, Deablo said he can’t take all the credit for his talent.

“This was a God-given talent,” said Devine Deablo. “I was raised that grades are most important. Grades first and nothing else. I’ve seen a lot of other people make mistakes. And so far I’ve been doing it right. So, I’m not going to change that. I’m going to keep going until I make it the NFL.”

In the meantime, Deablo is just looking forward to the 2014-2015 upcoming football season.

Deablo will graduate in 2016.
