The varsity boys lacrosse team closes their second week with continued improvement. In a match-up against Comstock Park, they made their presence known in West Michigan as a definitive threat against the home team.
While they ultimately fell 9-8, the score was close throughout the contest. The Comet offense was on fire with junior Brad Anderson posting three goals and one assist, junior Nate Cornell with three goals, freshman Mason Meyer with one goal and one assist and additional assists by Austin Anderson (sophomore), Cam Morin (sophomore) and Evan Feldkamp (freshman).
After a shaky first quarter, the defense answered in the following three quarters lead by senior starters Tony Brand, Danny Smith, Carson Williams (goalie) and junior Xavier Bender.
