The Cotter Junior Lady Warriors rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to post a 19-18 victory over the Norfork Junior Lady Panthers Thursday night at Cotter Coliseum.
Norfork drops to 4-2 on the season with the loss, while Cotter improved to 4-2.
The Junior Lady Panthers led 11-2 after a quarter and 14-7 after half. Cotter outscored Norfork 6-3 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to four points.
Macie Clawson led Cotter with 8 points and Marie Reed pitched in seven.
Marleigh Dodson had 12 points to lead Norfork, while Ivy McGowan and Kinley Stowers scored three each.
In the junior boys’ game, Cotter’s Junior Warriors ran roughshod in a 54-10 win.
Cotter led 14-2 after a quarter, 26-3 at the half and 46-8 at the end of three.
Dawson Burns had a big night for Cotter with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists. Hunter Dearmore notched 11 points and four steals, while Landon Martin reached double digits with 10 points and snagged five rebounds.
Cole Adams added five points and five boards for Cotter, while Isaac Jones had four points and a blocked shot in just 45 seconds.
Brock Belding led Norfork with five points. Alex Reynolds added three and Hascon Hurst scored two.
Norfork opened the night with a 14-9 win in the seventh-grade girls game.
Kynzie Rangel led Norfork with 11 points. Kyla Cox scored two and Karley Ice had one.
Cotter was a 26-12 winner in the seventh-grade boys game.
Clayton Smyser led Cotter with 11 points. Dylan Dwyer scored eight and Tucker Coots had five.
Dawson Gray scored six points to spark Norfork. Ethan Chapman pitched in three, Jacob Hurst had 2 and Tyler Sorders scored one.
