Delta knocked off New Castle 10-0 Saturday before losing 2-1 in the second game. Rob Fox had four hits, including a homer in the first game, while picking up the pitching win for the Eagles (14-13).

* Bearcats fall: Central lost 6-0 and 17-2 to Logansport. Billy Walker had four hits for the day. Sam Cavanaugh had three. Staff ace Jordan Poore left game 2 with a shoulder injury.

* Blackhawks bats flat: Cowan lost two games at the Patriot Invitational, 3-0 to host Jay County and 2-0 to New Haven. Kasey Henderson allowed no earned runs and no walks against New Haven. Luke Miller had three hits for the day.

* Golden Bears roll: Monroe Central raced past Union City 10-0 in five innings. Bracken Barga finished 2-for-3.

* Falcons sweep Rebels: Aaron Beatty drove in Jordan Yaryan in the bottom of the seventh as Winchester beat Randolph Southern 9-8. Winchester won the opener 18-2. Beatty had seven hits and six steals for the day.

* Friday’s late results: Yorktown won 12-6 and lost 11-3 against Greenfield-Central. Anthony Todd had six hits.

Softball

* Rebels split: Southside split with Liberty Christian, losing 5-4 and winning 6-5. Keely Eckman had seven strikeouts in the win. Wendy Kramer had three hits in the first game. Mekayla Johnson hit a three-run homer in the loss.
