Canton 30, Novi (15-4) 20: Canton clinched the Kensington Lakes conference title from 11 points from Taylor Hunley. Kerri McMahan scored 11 points in Novi’s loss.

Grosse Pointe South 57, Clinton Twp. Chippewa Valley 18: Cierra Rice led with a game high 17 points for South (19-1). Bre Andrews added 10 points and 10 boards. Chippewa Valley is 0-20.

Madison Heights Madison (16-3) 38, New Haven 36: MHM Asia Smith’s last-second layup helped Madison (16-3) clinch it’s conference title. Zaria Carruthers scored a game-high 14 points for Madison followed by Paris Fuller with 10. Allysa Phillips had six blocks and eight rebounds.

River Rouge 36, Detroit Cody 22: Star Harris had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals and Tamia Crawford had 14 rebounds for River Rouge (14-3). Lexus Reynolds scored 12 points for Detroit Cody (7-9).

Riverview 28, Milan 24: Micala Burke scored 14 points for Riverview.

Romulus 73, Harper Woods 54: Jayla Nichols had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Cierra Bond added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Romulus (15-4). Tierra Adams led Harper Woods with 17 points.

St. Clair Shores South Lake 67, Eastpointe East Detroit 52: NaKyra scored 25 points, Moet Dickinson scored 12 and A’Shionna Herndon added 10 for South Lake (12-6). Kadrea Jones scored 14 points and Lakeyia Terry and Daniella Marsee each scored 10 points for East Detroit.

Boys basketball

Berkley 56, Rochester Hills Stoney Creek 55: Charlie Carson scored 19 points and Patrick Mertz added 16 points for Stoney Creek (11-5). Jonathan Radner scored 24 points for Berkley (7-8).

Bloomfield Hills 92, Southfield 61: Isaiah Green scored 18 points, Khary Fanning scored 17 points, Michael Flowers added 16 points and Amauri Hardy chipped in with 12 points for Bloomfield Hills (6-12, 4-8 OAA). Khalil Gracy scored 24 points for Southfield (15-2, 9-2 OAA). Armond Cartwright and Yante Matan scored 15 points apiece.

Clarkston 46, North Farmington 39: Nick Owens scored 12 points and Drew Meyers added 11 points for Clarkston (14-3, 10-1 OAA Red). Jeron Rogers scored 23 points for North Farmington (12-4, 7-4).

Madison Heights Bishop Foley 62, Warren Michigan Collegiate 59: Nick Pepin scored 22 points; Gary Perry had 10 points and 13 rebounds; Tony Kamicik added 13 points for Madison heights Bishop Foley (6-11). Justin Parker scored 14 points and Malcom Cohen added 12 points for Warren Michigan Collegiate.

Onaway 69, Forest Area 68: Carlos Bautista’s putback with 8 seconds left lifted Onaway (13-4). Joe Obracovich had 33 points and 17 rebounds and Carlos Bautista had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Entes scored 24 points and Justin Burke added 16 points for Forest Area.

Romulus 86, Detroit Fredrick Douglass 68: Kris Clyburn scored 27 points, Jaylin Walker had 20 and Reo Washington added a 10 points and 10 rebounds for Romulus (14-2). Terrell Hales scored 25 points and Darrell Davis had 21 for Frederick Douglass.

Southfield Bradford Academy 79, Detroit University Prep 51: Juan Hampton had 31 points and nine assists, Jalen McFadden had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Deleon McDaniel added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Bradford (17-1). Javon Henderson scored 17 points and LeShawn Ellington added 11 points for University Prep.

Troy 59, Troy Athens 49: Chris Dorsey led Troy (13-4, 9-2 OAA) in scoring with 20 points followed by 13 from Demonta Hood. Tim Shayoka led Athens (11-5, 8-3) with 15 points.

Utica Ford 56, Roseville 44: J’Von Vaughn scored 16 points, Ryan Ausbrook scored 16 points and Bogart Lipe chipped in with 10 points for Utica Ford (11-6, 9-2). Elijah Collier scored 13 points and Brandon Hrelja added 11 points for Roseville.

Warren Mott 85, Utica 58: Kenny Goins had 30 points and 16 rebounds and Derek Murphy scored 21 points for Mott (13-4, 9-1). Blake Vallie scored 16 points for Utica (3-15).

West Bloomfield 62, Birmingham Seaholm 61: Trishon Jackson scored 20 points and Zack Allread added 16 points for West Bloomfield (9-7, 3-7 OAA White). Jonah Kest scored 17 points and Carl Marback added 14 points for Seaholm (8-9, 5-6).

Hockey

Rochester Hills Stoney Creek 2, Farmington 1: John Niedhauser and Finley O’Shea scored for Stoney Creek (16-6-1). Goalie Matt Wojno saved 14 shots. Drake Cole scored for Farmington (14-10-0).
