Redford Thurston 56, Dearborn Edsel Ford 38: Otis Kemutambah scored 13 points for Thurston (11-6) and Deaunte Jackson added ten points. Chad Gaillard scored 14 points for Edsel Ford (10-7).

Novi 39, Waterford Kettering 36: Kerri McMahan scored 17 points for Novi (16-4) and Taylor Baglika added 10 points. Alyssa Watts scored 10 points Kettering and Carly Coffin added nine points.

Clintondale 67, Madison Heights Lamphere 25: Greg Robinson scored 14 points and seven assists for Clintondale (15-3, 12-2 MAC Silver) and Dominick Hallums added 14 points. This is their second straight MAC Silver championship. Lamphere is now (1-17, 0-13 MAC Silver).

Bloomfield Hills 54, North Farmington 50: Yante Natan scored 21 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks and five assists for Bloomfield Hills (16-2, 9-2 OAA Red). Khalil Geracey added 18 points and eight assists and Armand Cartwright had 11 points and four steals. Jeron Rogers and David Lett scored 14 points for North Farmington (8-5, OAA Red). Jacob Jobert added 13 points.

Lansing Catholic 56, Williamston 50: Tony Poljan scored 38 points for Catholic and Mathew Fata added 14 points. Riley Lewis scored 13 points for Williamston. Tom Cotter added 12 and Ryan Watters had 10 points.

Detroit Allen Academy 71, Melvindale ABT 56: Pakiya Ellis scored 22 points and five steals for Allen (17-1). Jason Williams Jr. scored 15 points, eight assists and six steals. Lavail Russell scored 14 points for ABT and Elmelik Martin added 12 points.

Dearborn Fordson 78, Dearborn Height Annapolis 49: Moussa Harb scored 22 points for Fordson (13-5, 10-3 WWAC Red). Jamil Sabbagh added 13 points and Jonas Williams had 11 points. Bryan Collins scored 30 points for Annapolis (1-17, 0-12 WWAC Red).

Chandler Park Academy 85, Bradford Academy 72: Jalen Martin scored 25 points and 14 rebounds for Chandler Park (15-3, CSC Champions). Damon Muex added 18 points; Labaron Stewart had 14 points and Joe Thomas with 13 points. Jalen McFadden scored 49 points for Bradford (15-2) and Juwan Hampton added 10 points.

Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 41, Bloomfield Hills Roeper 36: Jarrett Kraatz scored 14 points for Allen Park Inter-City Baptist (13-6, 10-4 MIAC-Blue). Luke Barber added 10 points. Bloomfield Hills Roeper’s Max Whipple scored 17 points. Jon Kauffman added 14 points. Roeper is 6-8.

East Detroit 61, Fraser 40: Hyneef Hagens scored 15 points for East Detroit (1-16). Fraser’s T.J. Felder scored 13 points. Fraser is 1-17.

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett 67, Novi Franklin Road Christian 57: Ian Clark had 22 points and six steals for Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett (8-8). Jorden Petersen scored 17 points. Novi Franklin Road Christian’s Austin Hearns scored 21 points. Franklin Road is 4-12.

Lapeer West 63, Linden 47: Matthew Place had 20 points and five rebounds for Lapeer West (15-5). Mark Cox had 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists. Linden’s Austin Buerkel scored 14 points. Linden is 2-16.

New Haven 53, Clawson 48: Ryun Crayton had 18 points and three steals for New Haven (10-7). Sychar Sterling had 13 points and 12 rebounds. John Galloway had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Clawson’s Jared Ocameo scored 22 points. Clawson is 6-11

Rochester Adams 75, Pontiac 51: Akhemji Williams scored 27 points and Joey Viniti scored 12 points for Rochester Adams (14-4, 9-3 OAA Red). Jamal Park scored 10 points for Pontiac (3-15, 1-11 OAA Red).

Warren Mott 88, Roseville 63: Kenny Goins had 25 points and 12 rebounds; Derek Murphy scored 22 points; and Angello Proulx added 12 points for Warren Mott (14-4, 11-1). Elijah Collier scored 16 points for Roseville (9-8, 4-6 MAC White).

Troy 54, Birmingham Groves 46: Chris Dorsey scored 22 points for Troy (16-2, 9-1 OAA White). Eddie Reese scored 21 points for Birmingham Groves (4-13, 2-7 OAA White)

Romulus 85, Saginaw 59: Jaylin Walker scored 23 points; Kris Clyburn had 20 points and 14 rebounds; and Juan Clark added 12 points for Romulus (15-2). Keyon Addison scored 19 points and Jerry Smith chipped in with 12 points for Saginaw (13-5).

Troy Athens 71, Birmingham Seaholm 63: John van Hoff had 23 points and 18 rebounds; Tim Shayoka scored 14 points; Corbin Vrij had 10 rebounds and five blocks; and Mike Williams had 12 points and 12 assists for Troy Athens (12-5). John Kest scored 15 points, Jeff Bowmen scored 12 points, Austin Roth scored 12 points also, and Joey Nagridge added 11 points for Birmingham Seaholm.

Garden City 63, Livonia Clarenceville 52: Kevin Brown-Bayko had 21 points and eight rebounds; Travis Kidd had 16 rebounds and eight steals; and Julius Sandars added 12 points for Garden City (12-5). Kamani Dooley scored 20 points and Jernell Johnson chipped in with 11 points for Livonia Clarenceville.

Farmington 62, Hazel Park 61: Avon White scored 18 points; Justin Banks had 12 points and 19 rebounds; and Chris Seaborn added 10 points for Farmington (14-4, 9-3 OAA Blue). Semaj Thompson scored 10 points and Julius Giles contributed 16 points for Hazel Park (5-12, 2-10).

Birmingham Brother Rice 53, St. Clair 49: Patrick Sparks had 14 points and 12 rebounds; and Dominic Downs added 12 points for Birmingham Brother Rice (10-8). Jack Barnes scored 22 points for St. Clair (11-5).

Yale 48, Richmond 46: Austin Getner had 11 points and eight rebounds and Josh McClelland had nine points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals for Yale (17-1). Jake Schmidt had 11 points and seven rebounds for Richmond. Cody Kegley hit two free throws with 10 seconds left to give Yale the lead. Cameron Kegley and Austin Getner helped make the defensive stop that gave Richmond the win.

Peck 59, Kingston 41: Caleb Dudley scored 15 points; and Kyle Abrego and Wesley Bissett added 10 points each for Peck (16-0). Alex Lemos scored 16 points for Kingston.

Okemos 53, East Lansing 49: Edward Smith had 16 points and 10 rebounds; and James Moore scored 16 points for Okemos (11-7). Nate Colon scored 22 points and Da’Vonte Haines added 14 points for East Lansing (7-10).

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 55, Detroit Consortium 32: Lindsey Clei scored 17 points for Notre Dame (13-6). Megan Kraus added 10 points. Milana Stromile scored 11 points for Consortium (11-7).

Bloomfield Hills Roeper 48, Inter-City Baptist 38: Nadia Salman scored 16 points for Roeper and Sophia Sabas added 14 points. Alyssa Sims scored six points for Inter-City (10-10).

University Liggett 66, Franklin Road Christian 50: Jessica Rotzoll scored 22 points for Liggett and Nia Ahart added 15 points. Kristen Massey scored 29 points for Franklin Road and Hannah Rayburn added nine points.

Novi Franklin Road Christian’s Kristen Massey scored 29 points. Hannah Rayburn added nine points. Franklin Road Christian is 11-8.

Marysville 55, Saint Clair Shores Lake Shore 48: Madison Valko had 18 points, five assists and four steals for Marysville (17-3, 11-1 MAC-Gold). Sophomore Devan Valko scored 13 points. Sophomore Payton Husson had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Saint Clair Shores Lake Shore’s Kimberly Hardy scored 15 points. Lake Shore is 16-4, 9-3.

Northville 53, Pinckney 40: Gabby Mencotti scored 19 points for Northville (15-5). Heather Randall added 17 points. Pinckney’s Simone Smith scored 18 points. Pinckney is 6-14.

Oak Park 33, Southfield 27: Deanna Williams scored 13 points for Oak Park (10-9, 9-5 OAA-Blue). Southfield is 6-7.

St. Clair Shores South Lake 59, Marine City 36: NaKyra Jordan led Saint Clair Shores South Lake (13-6) with 17 points. Lauren Giurlanda added 16 points. Marine City’s Karyssa Austin scored 10 points. Marine City is 4-12.

South Lyon East 43, White Lake Lakeland 20: Gabrielle Bird scored 17 points for South Lyon East (9-7). Sydney Jones added 13 points. Dominique Zigo scored seven points. Lakeland is 10-10.

Belleville 62, Summit Academy 21: Anita Batayeh scored 10 points for Belleville (13-7).

Ypsilanti Arbor 55, Garden City 34: Payton Sims scored 16 points and Nastassja Chambers added 10 points for Ypsilanti Arbor Prep (17-3). Abby Joseph scored 10 points for Garden City (13-7).

Ice hockey

Warren Mott 6, Bishop Foley 3: Shane Mackin scored three goals (two in the second and one in the third period), Brandon Marzuk scored two goals (both in the third period), Eric Rodgers scored one goal (first period) and Eric Rodgers added one goal (first period) for Warren Mott (21-4). Mott goalie Kevin Lalik saved 36 of 42 shots. Nick Garborz scored one goal (first period), Andrew Williamson scored one goal (second period) and Matthew Blake added one goal (second period) for Bishop Foley (7-16-1). Goalie Daniel Collins saved 37 of 40 shots for Bishop Foley.

Farmington 9, Waterford Unified 1: Jason Petrus and Drake Cole Both scored two goals each apiece for Farmington (15-10-0). Farmington’s Trent Wolter, Nick Hefferon, Roman Firestone, Kris Hamilton, Drake Cole and Nick Kozoro scored one goal.
