Bronxville was pumped for its homecoming game

The Broncos got three goals in the second half and saw four different players score in their 4-0 win over visiting Briarcliff on Saturday.

“There was a lot of pep. It was fun.” Bronxville coach Jacquelyn Frawley said. “It was a good game for both teams.”

Junior Lilly Grass and sophomore Mia Bettino each had a goal and an assist. Senior Briana Alberghine and junior Caroline DePaul also scored.

Caroline Cahaney made two saves for Bronxville. Briarcliff’s Michelle Rotondo had seven saves.

Bronxville, 10-1-2, has three games left before playoffs begin.

“At this point, we’re looking to finish the season strong,” Frawley said. “We’re not trying to think about the postseason but we know it’s coming. … We’re taking it one game at a time.”
