With the game tied at 54 with 22.8 seconds left, the Manitowoc Lincoln boys basketball team was able to fend of a Green Bay East rally for the 56-54 home win on Friday.

T.J. Schneider led the Ships (6-13, 3-11 Fox River Classic Conference) for a second-consecutive night with a team-high 17 points while teammates David Wronkowski (12) and Adam Bonk (10) were also in double figures.

Lincoln built a 25-18 lead heading into halftime before East trimmed it to a 39-36 advantage to start the fourth. The Ships were proficient from deep, with Wronkowski and Bonk each hitting a pair of 3-pointers.

The Ships return to action on Monday when they visit Notre Dame.

The visiting Raiders used a strong second quarter to get past the Cougars in Eastern Wisconsin Conference play.

Two Rivers (12-9, 7-6 EWC) trailed 15-13 after the first quarter but outscored the hosts 12-2 in the second to take a 25-17 advantage into the locker room. Campbellsport would outscore the Raiders by four in the second half but it wasn’t enough to complete the comeback.

Dexter Smith paced Two Rivers with a team-high 15 points and teammates Ethan Willman and Austin Rehrauer also added 12 apiece. The trio did most of their damage from beyond the arc, with Smith and Rehrauer each hitting four 3-pointers and Willman three of his own.

Two Rivers finishes the regular season on Thursday when it hosts Plymouth.
