The Riverdale girls basketball team defeated Franklin County 54-42 Friday night.

Shanquia Heard and Alexa Middleton scored 13 points each for the Lady Warrirors (18-4, 7-1 7-AAA).

Cannon County 75, DeKalb County 41: MTSU signee Abbey Sissom finished with a game-high 29 points, including 7-of-8 from behind the arc, while dishing out 10 assists for the Lionettes.

Madison Walkup finished with 17 points and Rebekah Faulkner added 13 for the Lionettes (24-2, 9-1 8-AA).

Moore County 40, Eagleville 29: Nicole Duke and Taylor Turnage each scored six points for the Lady Eagles (10-14, 3-6 9-A) in defeat.

Lancaster Christian 60, Hamilton Heights 54: Abby Wright scored a team-high 19 points, Sydney Floyd added 12 and Jasmine Neal finished with 11 for the Lady Knights.

Boys

Franklin County 56, Riverdale 52: Steven Wilson scored 14 points, Jalen Campbell added 13 points and Brad Woodson finished with 12 points for the Warriors (13-10).

MTCS 82, Huntland 76: Derrick Spears scored 31 points, Luke Howell added 18, Ben Brown finished with 13 and David Capps scored 10 points for the Cougars (21-2, 9-1 9-A)

Franklin Road Christian 68, Pleasant View Christian 46: Caleb Hempstead scored 27 points, Jacob Woodard added 14 and Chris Stidham finished with 13 for FRCS (11-7). Kason Baxter scored 11 points too.

Cannon County 67, DeKalb County 48: Jacob Nave scored 19 points and Josh Reuhlen added 16 points for the Lions (22-4, 9-1 8-AA).
