Freshman sensation Romeo Langford poured in 21 points to lead the unbeaten New Albany High School boys’ basketball team to a 67-41 Hoosier Hills Conference victory at Seymour on Friday night.

The Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0 HHC) never trailed after racing to a 13-4 lead in the first quarter and 30-13 at the half.

Jeff Byrne added 14 points for New Albany, ranked 6th in Class 4-A, and eight others scored.

Toriek Miller led the Owls (1-5, 0-2) with 23 points.

New Washington 54, Rising Sun 42: James Clemons scored a game high 21 points as the Mustangs (3-4) beat the host Shiners (1-4). Jake Uhlmansick scored a team-high 13 points for Rising Sun in the loss.

Brownstown 67, North Harrison 51: The Braves (4-1) defeated the Cougars (1-4). Jacoby Shade led all scorers with 19 points for Brownstown, while Chandler Jenkins led North Harrison with 17 points.

Corydon 78, Scottsburg 42: The Panthers (4-1) defeated the Warriors (5-2) thanks in part to Timothy Wiseman’s 19 points and Bronson Kessinger’s 18 points and 12 rebounds. Cameron Schmidt led Scottsburg with nine points.

Madison 67, Bedford North Lawrence 66: Nick Macon connected on five 3-pointers and scored 21 points and Mitchell Seng added 17 as the host Cubs (5-1) beat the Stars (1-6).

Blaze Byrer led all scorers with 23 points for Bedford North Lawrence.

Christian Academy Indiana 52, South Central 19: Aaron Eldridge led all scorers with 14 points in a win for the Warriors (6-2) over the Rebels (1-6). Cory Ray scored 8 points for South Central in the loss.

Orleans 60, Medora 34: Cale Hall had 31 points as the visiting Bulldogs (4-1) won.

Perry Central 64, Springs Valley 57: Michael Schwartz scored 24 points to lead the host Commodores (3-3, 1-1 Patoka Lake Athletic Conference) past the Blackhawks (3-4, 1-2).

Salem 55, Borden 50: Derek Cornett scored 17 points as the Lions (4-3) beat the defending tournament champion Braves (5-2) in a semifinal.

Nathan Bachman scored 12 points and Caleb Hart added 11 for Salem.

Eastern Pekin 67, West Washington 48: Alex Doebler had 18 points as the Musketeers (3-2) beat the Senators (1-5) in a semifinal.
