Danielle Larochelle, Nyack girls basketball: The eighth-grader scored a game-high 15 points in a 48-41 upset of league foe Tappan Zee, which had not lost in 2014.
Gina Maher, Irvington girls basketball coach: Maher became the first Section 1 basketball coach — boys or girls — to win 600 games when the Bulldogs knocked off visting Rye Neck 58-29.
Liz Trojan, Suffern girls basketball: The sophomore had 17 points and 17 rebounds in a 48-32 win against East Ramapo.
Joe Zayer, Clarkstown South boys basketball: Zayer scored with nine seconds left to give the Vikings at 72-70 win at Spring Valley.
