Crusaders have won past two meetings in series

Trinity was off last week after a 35-34 double-overtime loss to Male on Oct. 17. Senior Donald Brooks has rushed for 1,112 yards this season and scored 17 of the Shamrocks’ 31 touchdowns (16 rushing, one receiving). Ryan Young has passed for 1,029 yards and 10 touchdowns, and Rodjay Burns (33 catches, 427 yards, six TDs) is the top receiver.

After a 5-0 start – including a 26-0 victory over St. Xavier – the Crusaders have lost three of their past four games. The most recent was a 24-10 loss to Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward. Quarterback Matt Crable has passed for 1,733 yards and 12 touchdowns. Other top players include defensive tackle Elijah Taylor (Notre Dame commit), wide receiver Chase Pankey (Boston College) and tight end Jake Hausmann (four-star recruit).
