Georgia Tech addressed immediate needs on the offensive line and defensive secondary with its largest National Signing Day class since 2011.
The Yellow Jackets signed 21 prospects, a number that includes four players that enrolled at Georgia Tech in January, and one transfer.
“We are really excited about this group of young men,” head coach Paul Johnson said. “I think we addressed a lot of needs. We’ve been trying to balance the numbers for a couple of years now. We were a little bit heavy in the offensive line in this class, which we needed to be, and we got some guys in the secondary, which was a consideration.
“Overall, I’m just enthusiastic about this group. Not only are they quality athletes, but quality people as well. They are guys I think will fit in really well here at Georgia Tech.”
