Leading 35-28 entering the fourth quarter, the Oostburg girls basketball team outscored Sheboygan Lutheran 19-7 in the final frame to earn a 54-35 road win on Tuesday.

Maranda Huibregtse poured in a game-high 22 points and five assists for the Flying Dutchmen, with Keri Hartmann adding nine points. Huibregtse was 7-of-8 on free throws and Oostburg (8-3, 6-0 Central Lakeshore Conference) finished 10-of-12 as a team from the charity stripe.

Lutheran (4-7, 2-3 CLC), which finished 5-of-13 on free throws, was led in scoring by Erin Quam who had 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting to go along with six rebounds.

Carissa Wisse scored a game-high 10 points and Hannah Modahl added eight more to help Sheboygan Christian (8-2, 6-1 CLC) clinch the CLC win.

The Eagles opened the game with a 10-5 lead after the first quarter, but held just a single-point advantage at halftime after Random Lake (2-7, 0-6 CLC) crept back into the game in the second quarter.

Christian outscored Random 11-2 in the third quarter to re-take firm control of the game.

Jessica Mueller led the Rams with nine points.

Lydia Legler scored eight points to lead Cedar Grove’s offense and the Rockets rebounded from a slow start for the win.

The Rockets (5-5, 2-3 CLC) trailed by seven points after the first quarter and were down 17-11 at halftime, but slowly turned things around in the second half.

“We just played a really good team game and our defense persevered through the whole thing,” Cedar Grove coach Jason Jones said.

Bailey Johnson scored 13 points to lead Ozaukee (3-6, 2-4 CLC).
