North Hunterdon 45, Bridgewater-Raritan 29: Allison Lane scored a game-high 13 points while teammate Hailey Stine added 12 points as North Hunterdon scored the upset over visiting Bridgewater-Raritan. Having entered the game winners of seven straight, the Panthers (7-2) never seemed to get on track, trailing 10-6 after the first quarter and 27-15 at half. Mary Kronenwetter led Bridgewater-Raritan with seven points while teammates Eunice Abogado and Julia Venturelli added five each. Alicea Foran and Carolyn Giordano both tallied seven points for the Lions (4-3).
Franklin 49, Hunterdon Central 33: Alexandra Jackson (18 points) and Adreana Miller (13 points) led Franklin, which improved to 8-1. Carli Wilson led Hunterdon Central (6-3) with 15 points while teammate Mackenzie Roden added 10 points.
Piscataway 62, Old Bridge 35: Piscataway stormed out to a 24-5 first quarter lead and never looked back. The Chiefs (7-2) were led by Kelsey Nugent’s 15 points and Alliera McCoy’s 12 point, nine rebound effort. Amanda Carney led Old Bridge (3-6) with eight points.
Governor Livingston 58, A.L. Johnson 49 (2OT): Patrice DiTommaso tallied 26 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for Governor Livingston, which outscored A.L. Johnson 10-1 in the second overtime. Sara Dilly added eight points and 13 rebounds for the Highlanders (6-5), who by 10 heading into the fourth quarter before the Crusaders rallied.
Westfield 55, Linden 32: Jacqueline Knapp had 23 points and six steals for Westfield (10-0). Hannah Liddy added 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and six steals. Amalia Montes grabbed 10 rebounds. Linden drops to 1-8.
Pingry 49, Bound Brook 40: Cory Ransom’s 16 points and 10 rebounds sparked Pingry (3-6) to its third straight. Annelise Kinney added 11 points in the winning performance. Janeea’ Summers tallied a game-high 17 points and 13 rebounds for Bound Brook (4-4).
South Hunterdon 56, North Plainfield 41: Lauren McBride led South Hunterdon (7-2) with 20 points. Brett Lelie added 11 points and teammate Aly Baggitt tallied 10 for the Eagles, who led by 18 points at half. Frankie Cherasaro led all North Plainfield scorers with 18.
Montgomery 39, Voorhees 38: Cameryn Benz scored a game-high 14 points for Montgomery (4-5) and teammate Alecia Cunniff contributed nine points, as the Cougars have won four of five after an 0-4 start. Erin Jones led all scorers with 16 points for Voorhees (5-3). Taylor Noll put up 13 points and nine rebounds for the Vikings.
Sayreville 66 North Brunswick 43: Jackie Rodriguez led all scorers with 18 points for Sayreville. Amanda Quintero and Ryane Brush chipped in 16 points and 12 points respectively for the Bombers as they improved to 6-2. North Brunswick was led by Kyra Fox who scored 15 points.
South Plainfield 38, J.P. Stevens 20: Shannon Hughes netted 12 points, leading South Plainfield (5-4) past J.P. Stevens (1-6). Kate McLaughlin added nine points for the Tigers, who led 21-10 at halftime. Molly Yelencsics paced the Hawks with nine points.
Wayne Valley 41, Hillsborough 27: Allison Wickman scored 15 points for Hillsborough (2-7), which failed to hand Wayne Valley its first loss of the season.
59, Somerville 33: Bridget Douglas scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Somerville. Nyasia Thomas added nine points and nine rebounds for the Pioneers (1-8).
New Providence 53, Roselle Catholic 51: Sydney Morang netted a game-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds to power New Providence (6-3). Katie Kinum and Hannah Caminiti each chipped in eight points in the victory.
Delaware Valley 43, Mount St. Mary 41: Trailing by eight heading into the fourth quarter, Delaware Valley outscored Mount St. Mary, 16-6, in the final frame to come away with the victory. Haley Pilone had 10 of her game-high 26 points in the fourth to lead the comeback. Amanda Kopacz led Mount St. Mary with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
50, Collegiate 30: Breana Spencer scored 18 points and Drew Winter chipped in 13 for Plainfield (6-4).
Warren Hills 44, Ridge 42: Sam Mahon led Ridge with 23 points but it wasn’t enough as the Red Devils fell to Warren Hills. Ridge (7-4) led 30-21 at half but managed to score only 12 points in the second half.
35, Union Catholic 27: Emilt Garno scored eight points to pace Union Catholic (5-5). Donnae Days pulled down 11 rebounds for the Vikings.
Belvidere 45, Manville 8: Megan Mack scored six points for the Mustangs (0-7).
