Metuchen 67, Wardlaw-Hartridge 41: Cassie Smith scored a season-high 47 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to lead Metuchen (5-4). Liane Cifrodelli chipped in 10 points and six assists for the Bulldogs, who played without point guard Katelynn Flaherty, who fractured her foot in Wednesday’s win over Mother Seton. Flaherty, a transfer from Point Pleasant Beach, is expected to miss 2-3 weeks, as first reported by MSG Varsity’s Gregg Lerner. Jessica Gural scored 11 points and Taylor Gerhart added 10 for Wardlaw-Hartridge (2-7).

Rutgers Prep 56, Immaculata 34: Kendra Barat recorded 14 points, 10 steals, six rebounds, and five assists to lead Rutgers Prep (4-3), which carried a 20-6 lead after one quarter. Gabi Redden contributed 13 points and seven rebounds and Allison Girardi added 12 ponits for the Argonauts. Alyssa Michalowski netted a team-high eight points for Immaculata (3-7).

New Providence 43, Elizabeth 17: Sydney Morang scored nine points and added five rebounds and both Natalie Barrett and Katie Kinum chipped in eight points for New Providence (7-4). The Pioneers led 28-0 at halftime and 21-0 after the first quarter.

South River 62, Perth Amboy Tech 47: Gabby Harris recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds and Alyssa Barry filled out the stat sheet with 18 points, seven steals and six assists to lead South River (9-0). Yadalin Vargas scored a game-high 27 points for Perth Amboy Tech (4-5).

Cardinal McCarrick 54, Highland Park 26: Shannon McCleery led all scorers with 19 points and Brittany Clayton chipped in 10 for Cardinal McCarrick (6-3). Rachel Beyer paced Highland Park (0-9) with eight points.

Bound Brook 56, Stuart Country Day 30: Kara Smiegocki scored 17 points and Janeea’ Summers recorded a double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds, while also adding six blocks, for Bound Brook (6-4).

Middlesex 64, Carteret 42: Tori Schweyer scored 13 points, Rosie Guarino added 12 and Zakiya Beckles added 11 to lead Middlesex (6-4). Courtney Hansen scored a game-high 20 points and Aniko Chapman added 11 for Carteret (2-7).

South Amboy 68, Pisctataway Tech 27: Amanda LaVigne recorded her first double-double of the year, with 23 points and 10 assists, and Shana Anderson added 18 points for South Amboy (5-5). Jasmin Patterson led all scorers with 23 points for Piscataway Tech (2-7).

Governor Livingston 47, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 42: Patrice DiTommaso recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds and Sara Dilly chipped in nine points to lead Governor Livingston (7-6). Madison Maisel led Scotch Plains-Fanwood with 13 points.

Plainfield 57, Linden 54 (OT): The Cardinals got the win in the extra period.

Colonia 41, South Plainfield 40 (Thursday): Kristen Wright scored the go-ahead basket with 30 seconds remaining and Colonia (5-5) handed South Plainfield its first GMC White Division loss. Wright scored a season-high 15 points on the night and the Patriots got balanced scoring from Simran Sangu (nine), Madison Stanley (nine) and Gabby Wilson (eight). Kate McLaughlin scored a game-high 16 points, making five 3-pointers, for South Plainfield (5-5), which led by six heading to the fourth quarter.
